Many of the athletes who trust in FitLine have risen above themselves this year to achieve some of their best results. Here’s a selection of their greatest successes:
German Athletics Association (DLV): Track and Field Firework
No less than 125 German athletes qualified for the 24th European Athletics Championship in Berlin. The largest DLV team ever stole the show: 19 medals, including Malaika Mihambo (long jump gold), Kristin Gierisch (triple jump silver), and Carolin Schäfer (heptathlon bronze).
Ivan Dodig (TENNIS): Game, Set, Match
When we win, we win together! Grand Slam champion Ivan Dodig has been with us since 2015. His latest career highlight: Winning the Davis Cup 2018 final together with the Croatian team – against France, on French soil.
Enrico Zen (CYCLING): King of the Mountains
With 206 kilometers and 4 alpine passes, the Granfondo Dolomiti is not for the faint of heart. Italian Marathon cycling specialist Enrico Zen took the challenge and prevailed against 400 competitors from 40 nations, outsprinting his rivals on the final 200 meters uphill stretch. What an incredible success!
Luxembourg Basketball Federation (FLBB): Scoring Silver
Since 2015, FitLine has been supporting the Luxembourg basketball teams in meeting the extremely diverse physical demands of their sport. Their biggest success of the season: Claiming the Silver Medal at the FIBA Women’s European Championship for Small Countries in Ireland.
Mario Zwingmann (NATURAL BODYBUILDING): Ultimate Champion
With the right amount of dedication and self-discipline, almost anything is possible. Prime example: Mario Zwingmann. He went all in and confirmed his World Champion title as WFF Mr. Universe Pro Sports Model in Singapore this year. Congratulations!
Marita Nyqvist (MOTOCROSS): On the Fast Track
Marita Nyqvist from Finland took the dirt road to success, finishing first at the Cross Country European Cup on Gotland, Sweden. After numerous international race successes, this win marks her first individual gold medal at European level.
Sarah Tan (CYCLING): Pedal to the Medal
At the Asian Para Games 72 km road race, Sarah Tan acted as the sighted tandem pilot for para-cyclist Emily Lee. After a tough battle against their opponents and the Indonesian heat and wind, their incredible team work was rewarded with the bronze medal.

At the season’s first World Cup in Wisla, Poland, the whole podium was Powered by FitLine. The large hill team competition Gold (Poland), Silver (Germany), and Bronze (Austria) went to the FitLine ski federation partners.
